Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn today joined Ministers from ASEAN, China, Japan and the Republic of Korea at the 14th ASEAN Plus Three Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC) + 3 Consultation held in Vientiane, Lao PDR. Timor-Leste attended as Observer.The Consultation exchanged views on ways to enhance ASEAN Plus Three cooperation (APT) in the fight against transnational crime. The Ministers looked forward to the full and effective implementation of the ASEAN Plus Three Senior Officials’ Meeting on Transnational Crime (SOMTC + 3) Work Plan on Cooperation to Combat Transnational Crime (2024-2027) and the ASEAN Directors-General of Immigration Departments and Heads of Consular Affairs Divisions of Ministries of Foreign Affairs Meeting Plus Three (DGICM + 3) Work Programme 2023-2027.
