The 15th ASEAN-UN Summit was convened today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Meeting reaffirmed the importance of the ASEAN-UN Comprehensive Partnership, and underscored a shared commitment to peace, security, stability, and prosperity within the inclusivity and sustainability framework.
The Meeting also welcomed the recent adoption of the new ASEAN-UN Plan of Action (2026–2030), which will serve as an important framework to further strengthen the Comprehensive Partnership and contribute to the implementation of ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future.
The ASEAN-UN Summit was attended by the ASEAN Leaders, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and the Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn.
