Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today joined ASEAN Economic Ministers in the 8th AEM- HKC Consultation, held in Vientiane, Lao PDR.
The Meeting discussed the progress of implementing the ASEAN-Hong Kong, China FTA (AHKFTA) and ASEAN-Hong Kong, China Investment Agreement (AHKIA). It also welcomed the completion of the Review of the AHKFTA Economic and Technical Cooperation (ECOTECH) Work Programme, which has successfully strengthened the capacity of relevant stakeholders of the AHKFTA Parties.
