Theme ‘ASEAN COVID-19 Response After One Year’

The Meeting, which was convened to accelerate COVID-19 response in the ASEAN region, exchanged updates and experiences of ASEAN Member States, among others on national vaccine rollout and genomic surveillance for SARS-COV-2, as well as discussed synergies in research and laboratory capacity and the development of ASEAN Health Protocol to support post COVID-19 recovery in the region. The Meeting adopted a Joint Statement which can be accessed here.
