The 2^nd ASLOM Working Group on ASEAN Extradition Treaty, 11^th ASLOM Working Group on Examining Modalities for Harmonisation of ASEAN Trade Laws, 21^st ASLOM, 2^nd ASLOM-Japan Consultation, and ASLOM-World Justice Project engagement were convened from 10–14 October 2022 in Manila, Philippines. The 21^st ASLOM which was preceded by the 2^nd ASLOM Working Group on ASEAN Extradition Treaty and the 11^th ASLOM Working on Examining Modalities for Harmonisation of ASEAN Trade Laws discussed various issues on law and legal-related matters which are of interest to ASEAN Member States. The 2^nd ASLOM – Japan Consultation was also convened to discuss the principle of the ASEAN-Japan Special Meeting of Justice Ministers and the work towards the development and adoption of the Work Plan and the Joint Statement by ASEAN and Japan in 2023.
