The 48th ASEAN Audit Committee Meeting was held via videoconference on 6 July to discuss matters of audit, risk, and governance relating to the ASEAN Secretariat. The meeting was opened by Chairperson of the Audit Board of Indonesia Dr Isma Yatun, CSFA, CFrA, and Chaired by Secretary General of the Audit Board of Indonesia Bahtiar Arif.

In attendance were representatives from ASEAN Member States and the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN Working Group (CPRWG), Chief Internal Auditor of the ASEAN Secretariat Dr Sasikala Sankaran, and a representative of Timor-Leste as observer. The delegates exchanged views on ways to strengthen the governance process of the ASEAN Secretariat.
