ASEAN Secretariat’s Director for Community Affairs Lee Yoong Yoong noted that the media’s role in informing, educating, and empowering ASEAN citizens has been further amplified during the pandemic.
‘’Although we are unable to meet in person, we hope this year’s online forum will continue to inform the public of the priorities ASEAN has taken to protect its citizens in response to challenges posed by the global pandemic,” said Director Lee.
