The 6th ASEAN Leadership Awards on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication was held earlier this evening at the Sand Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. Minister for Social and Family Development of Singapore Masagos Zulkifli and Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn both delivered remarks at the ceremony and presented the awards to the winners from all ten ASEAN Member States. The Award is one of the ways ASEAN recognises the outstanding efforts of civil society organisations and private sector in promoting inclusive and sustainable rural development.
