Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kim Kao Hourn today joined Ministers from ASEAN and Japan in the 9th ASEAN Plus Japan Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC + Japan) Consultation. Timor-Leste attended as Observer.Co-Chaired by Singapore and Japan, the Consultation exchanged views on issues of mutual concern and discussion in the areas of mutual interest to advance cooperation between ASEAN and Japan in combatting transnational crime in support of the effective implementation of the SOMTC – Japan Work Plan on Cooperation to Combat Transnational Crime (2023 – 2027).
