Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, today received H.E. Milena Rangel, Vice Minister for ASEAN Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ ASEAN Secretariat. They discussed, among others, the implementation of the Roadmap for Timor-Leste’s Full Membership in ASEAN. During the meeting, the Secretary-General acknowledged Timor-Leste’s ongoing progress towards meeting the Roadmap’s criteria and welcomed continued capacity-building for Timor-Leste by ASEAN and its external partners.
