At this momentous event in Bangkok, Thailand, Secretary-General Dr. Kao Kim Hourn commended the C asean Consonant for their unique role in fostering regional solidarity and cultural exchange. 

He highlighted how the arts, as showcased in the concert ’A Decade of Harmony: A Journey to the World Expo 2025’, can unite ASEAN member states and strengthen ties with partner countries and organisations.

Additionally, he recognised the invaluable support from Thai Beverage Corporation Limited, whose commitment has been instrumental in amplifying ASEAN’s cultural diplomacy at the global stage, reinforcing a shared vision of harmony and cooperation.

C asean Consonant is a traditional music collective that celebrates the diverse cultural heritage of all ten ASEAN member states. The concert serves as a pre-event for the 58th ASEAN Day, which will be observed on 8 August 2025 in Osaka, Japan and Jakarta, Indonesia.
