1. The 23rd ASEAN and Japan Transport Ministers Meeting (23rd ATM+Japan) was held on 20 November 2025 in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. The Meeting was preceded by the 24th ASEAN and Japan Senior Transport Officials Meeting (24th STOM+Japan) held on 18 November 2025.
2. ASEAN Member States welcomed the announcement by Japan to promote cooperative projects and activities under the ASEAN-Japan Transport Partnership (AJTP) in a comprehensive and sustained manner and support the implementation of various activities under the ASEAN Transport Sectoral Plan (ATSP) 2026–2030 in the areas of air transport, land transport, maritime transport, sustainable transport and transport facilitation.
