As one tree becomes a forest, and one act becomes a movement, the 100 Million Tree Planting Campaign has grown into something far greater than number. It reflects the shared will of a nation coming together for the land it calls home. From mist-covered highlands to the edges of the sea, from quiet villages to vibrant cities, this effort has drawn strength from every corner of Malaysia. What began with awareness, gained momentum through participation, and now moves forward with responsibility and care. By 31st December 2024, more than 107 million trees representing over 1.900 species have been planted and recorded. Alonsgide this, 1.432 Communication, Education, Participation and Awareness (CEPA) programmes have brought knowledge and inspiration to people across the country, encouraging not just action, but understanding. The road ahead is clear. Planting must be matched with care. Progress with planning. As this national effort continues, its roots will deepen, supported by sustainable policies, low carbon practices, and technology that respects the land rather than reshaping it.
