The 6th ASEAN-Russia Consultations of High Representatives for Security Issues convened today in Moscow on the sidelines of the 1st International Security Forum. The Meeting was held in a milestone year marking the 35th anniversary of ASEAN-Russia relations. Participants exchanged views on regional and global security developments, including strategic stability, arms control, and non-proliferation, and shared perspectives on addressing both traditional and non-traditional challenges. The Meeting was attended by senior officials from ASEAN Member States and Russia responsible for security issues, as well as the Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Political-Security Community.
