The Executive Committee of the Commission on the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone (SEANWFZ EXCOM) convened today in Manila to review the progress in the implementation of the Plan of Action to Strengthen the Implementation of the SEANWFZ Treaty (2023-2027) and reaffirmed ASEAN’s strong commitment to preserving Southeast Asia as a Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone to advancing global nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.
