The ASEAN Work Plan on Youth 2026–2030 serves as the principal implementation instrument for advancing youth development under the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Strategic Plan 2026-2035 and contributing to the ASEAN Community Vision 2045. It translates regional policy commitments into a coherent, results-based framework that positions ASEAN youth as active partners and contributors to inclusive, resilient, and sustainable development.

Building on the ASEAN Work Plan on Youth 2021–2025 and its End-Term Review, the Work Plan marks a shift from largely event-based initiatives towards more integrated, programmatic, and outcome-oriented approaches. It consolidates established platforms, including youth dialogues, exchanges, leadership programmes, and entrepreneurship initiatives, into structured mechanisms that strengthen continuity, scalability, and impact, while enhancing alignment with sectoral priorities and ASEAN-wide frameworks.
