Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, delivered pre-recorded remarks at the 2026 International Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Expo and 4th China (Bozhou)-RCEP TCM Industry Cooperation Conference, held on 8-9 September 2026 in Bozhou City, Anhui Province, China.
In his remarks, Dr. Kao highlighted the important role of RCEP in strengthening regional economic integration and expanding trade and investment opportunities in traditional medicine. He also underscored the importance of ASEAN-China cooperation in advancing innovation, regulatory cooperation, and the sustainable development of the traditional medicine sector.
