Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 20 September 2026, attended the USABC Exclusive Ministerial Dinner with ASEAN Economic Ministers, held on the sidelines of the 58th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Meeting and Related Meetings in Manila, the Philippines. The ASEAN Economic Ministers, the Secretary-General of ASEAN, and U.S. business leaders discussed opportunities to strengthen regional supply chains, advance digital integration and DEFA implementation, and mobilise investment and business solutions for sustainable economic growth across ASEAN.
