Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today joined the Economic Ministers from ASEAN, the People’s Republic of China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea for the 29th AEM-Plus Three (APT) Consultation in Manila, the Philippines.
The Consultation welcomed the progress in implementing the APT Economic Cooperation Work Programme (ECWP) 2025–2026 and endorsed the APT ECWP 2027–2028, reaffirming the commitment of ASEAN and the Plus Three countries to strengthen regional economic resilience and advance cooperation in areas including digital connectivity, sustainable development, innovation and entrepreneurship, and MSMEs development.
