This publication proposes the phased implementation of a systematic and integrated response to guide regional actions in addressing the issue of marine plastic pollution in ASEAN over the next five years (2021-2025). This publication also highlights the current status and challenges faced by ASEAN Member States (AMS), as well as identifies potential solutions along the value chain to overcome unsustainable plastic consumption, waste management and marine debris pollution.
