JAKARTA, 28 February 2023  – Today, the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre) conducted a Handover Ceremony of the Military Representative to the AHA Centre, of the ASEAN Militaries Readies Group on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief, at the AHA Centre Office in Jakarta. 

Colonel Imam Suryo Cahyono, Analyst for Capacity-Building, Confidence-Building Measure, and Preventive Diplomacy, Directorate of Defence International Cooperation, Directorate General for Defence Strategy, Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia, was appointed as the Military Representative to the AHA Centre in conjunction with Indonesia’s Chairmanship in 2023. Defence Attachés from 7 ASEAN Member States, ASEAN Secretariat and AHA Centre  were in attendance.
