The first ASEAN Charity Golf Tournament was held in September ___ (can we have exact date here) as part of the celebration of ASEAN Community 2015 in Jakarta. As ASEAN’s commitment to a people-oriented community, this Tournament was organised to raise funds for charities. With support from the diplomatic and business communities, the event successfully raised significant amount of money which was donated to four selected Indonesian charities: Rumah Pandai Terang Indonesia; Rumah Singgah; I’m Star Foundation; and Pulih Foundation.
The tournament was a one-day event where ASEAN people joined together to celebrate and at the same time help the local communities. ASEAN Secretary-General H.E. Le Luong Minh participated in the event together with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia name, Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN, respected companies, members of diplomatic corps and captains of industry.
