ASEAN Declaration on Road Safety Strategy

WE, the Transport Ministers of Brunei Darussalam, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Republic of Indonesia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Singapore, the Kingdom of Thailand and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, on the occasion of the 21st ASEAN Transport Ministers Meeting;

 

 

RECALLING the Phnom Penh Ministerial Declaration on ASEAN Road Safety adopted on 23 November 2004;

 

RECOGNISING the importance of the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 which aims to stabilise and then reduce the forecast level of road traffic fatalities around
the world;
