To mark the 5th anniversary of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between ASEAN and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), a week-long ASEAN-Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Days will be staged at the ASEAN Secretariat, starting today. The MOU aims to promote economic cooperation and collaboration contributing to trade, investment, and economic expansion between ASEAN and EAEU Member States.

Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn, Member of the Board – Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the EEC Sergey Glaziev, Vice Secretary of the Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation Fedor Chernitsyn, and Permanent Representative of Indonesia to ASEAN Ambassador M.I. Derry Aman delivered remarks at the opening session of the ASEAN-EAEU Days which includes photo exhibition, culinary exhibition, and business roundtables.
