Brunei Darussalam is once again gearing up to welcome delegates and media after successfully held ASEAN Summit last April. With the 46th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) officially starts tomorrow, Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Sultanate, greets visitors with ASEAN flags, banners, and posters.

The 46th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) / Post Ministerial Conference (PMC) / 20th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) / 3rd East Asia Summit Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (EAS FMM) are taking place 27 June – 2 July 2013. The Foreign Ministers of ASEAN meet annually, with informal meetings and retreats in between.

“We are working on efforts to build a resilient, dynamic and sustainable Community by 2015 and the potentials for strengthening coordination and collaboration between ASEAN and Dialogue Partners in working towards mutual understanding, political dialogue and friendly cooperation,” said ASEAN Secretary-General Le Luong Minh as he prepares to join the meeting.
