1. We welcome the agreement reached between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Israel on the first phase of the US President Donald J. Trump’s “Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict” announced in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt on 8 October 2025 with a view to achieving a permanent end of hostilities.
2. We commend President Trump for his continued leadership and sustained efforts to end the war in Gaza. We further appreciate the important role and collective efforts of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar and the Republic of Türkiye, as well as other partners in facilitating the mediation and implementation of the comprehensive plan.
