JAKARTA, 18 April 2022 – ASEAN and India announced the winners of the ASEAN-India Logo Design and Tagline Competition held to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of ASEAN-India relations on 14 April.
The winners were selected by a selection committee comprising the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN, Ambassador of India to ASEAN and the ASEAN Secretariat.
The selection committee decided to award the first place to Bew Thanakron Khumkhrua among the 1254 entires. Meanwhile in the second place was Arpit Shankar, followed by Vatsal Shah at third place.
The submissions were asssesed based on the originality, relevance, adaptability and aesthetics. The winning entries were chosen based on the strong reflection of the friendship and collective aspirations of ASEAN and India, as well as progress achieved by both sides over three decades.
ASEAN and India appreciated the high participation of their citizens. The winning logo and tagline will be used for commemorative events and activities planned to mark the ASEAN-India Friendship Year, which leaders of both sides have agreed to celebrate this year.
