WE, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (hereinafter referred to as “ASEAN”), namely, Brunei Darussalam, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Republic of Indonesia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), Malaysia, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Singapore, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, gathered at the 47th ASEAN Summits in Kuala Lumpur on 26 October 2025.

RECALLINGour strong commitment as outlined in the ASEAN Joint Statement on Climate Change to the UNFCCC COP29 and our resolve to advancing collective action and strengthening regional cooperation in addressing the global challenge of climate change.
