The ASEAN Nature-based Solutions (NbS) Platform is developed by the European Union through the ASEAN-EU Technical Assistance Facility to the Green Team Europe Initiative (TAF-GTEI), and hosted by the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB), with endorsement of the ASEAN Working Group on Nature Conservation Biodiversity (AWGNCB) and the ASEAN Working Group on Climate Change (AWGCC). The Platform serves as a comprehensive regional hub for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and capacity building, to support the adoption and scaling of NbS across ASEAN Member States.

Launched on 11 February 2026 during the NbS Capacity Building Session in Bali, Indonesia, the platform highlights how NbS can effectively address interconnected environmental and socio-economic challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, and disaster risks, while supporting sustainable development and livelihoods.

The platform offers a curated and evolving repository of tools, case studies, guidance materials, and policy references tailored to the ASEAN context. It enables users to better identify opportunities, design context-specific interventions, and scale up successful NbS practices across diverse ecosystems, including coastal, urban, forest, and agricultural landscapes.

Beyond providing static resources, it fosters peer-to-peer learning and encourages the sharing of experiences and innovations among ASEAN Member States. In addition, the platform facilitates continuous learning and regional dialogue by connecting policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and development partners working on climate, biodiversity, and disaster risk reduction.
