The concerns of ASEAN’s outgoing Secretary-General on the South China Sea territorial issue leads the December 2012 edition of “ASEAN Today,” with Surin Pitsuwan urging all parties to move forward on the sensitive matter.

 

Dalton Tanonaka of Indonesia’s Metro TV and Sarah Rabiatul Kamit of the Brunei Times in Bandar Seri Begawan report on the people and places of the dynamic Southeast Asia region.  Also included in this month’s program are the regional business plans of international carmakers, Indonesian performing artist Butet Kartaredjasa, visits by South Korean superstar Psy, and giant pandas now in residence in Singapore.
