The ASEAN Post-Ministerial Conference with Canada was held in Kuala Lumpur today. The Meeting reaffirmed both sides’ commitment towards further enhancing the ASEAN-Canada Strategic Partnership. The Ministers noted with satisfaction the robust implementation of the ASEAN-Canada Plan of Action (2021–2025) and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest and concern. The Meeting was attended by the ASEAN Foreign Ministers or their representatives, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Hon Anita Anand, and Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community, Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz. Timor-Leste attended as Observer.
