The ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference with New Zealand was held in Jakarta today. The meeting adopted the ASEAN-New Zealand Joint Statement on Cooperation on the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP), noted the progress under ASEAN-New Zealand Dialogue Relations and recognised ways to intensify the strategic partnership, and looked forward to the 50th anniversary of the ASEAN-New Zealand Dialogue Relations in 2025. The meeting also discussed regional and international issues of common concern and interest to both ASEAN and New Zealand.
