Autism advocate Erlinda Uy Koe from the Philippines is the Recipient of the inaugural ASEAN Prize 2018. Ms. Koe is the Chair Emeritus of Autism Society Philippines (ASP) and served as Chair of the ASEAN Autism Network (AAN) which is comprised of autism family support organisations from all ten ASEAN Member States. She spearheaded many initiatives to enhance autism awareness which impacted the lives of thousands of autistic children and adults in the region.
