ASEAN Youth Organization (AYO) is a youth-led non-profit organization established to advance international understanding and foster a greater awareness of the ASEAN’s principle of “One Vision, One Identity, and One Community”. 

Founded in August 2013, AYO has successfully expanded its operations to over than 14 countries through its regional chapters, implementing more than 300 projects that engage youths, and promoting ASEAN awareness to over 200 million young people in Southeast Asia through its flagship programmes, including AYO Ambassador, ASEAN Youth Economic Forum, ASEAN Youth Digital Forum, ASEAN Youth Conference, and ASEAN Youth Exchange.

AYO envisioned to create a community where youths demonstrated heightened interest in ASEAN through programmes that Empower Youth, Engage, and Educate Communities to implement ideas that drive Positive Sustainable Change. With 13 years of experience in community development, AYO provides young people with the knowledge, skills, and necessary resources, further to contribute back to their communities while supporting the ASEAN’s regional development journey.
