Founded in 1978, the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) has been a driving force in Mobilising, educating, and empowering Cambodian youth to serve their nation.

The year 2025 marks the 47th anniversary of UYFC. Today, UYFC is Cambodia’s largest youth organisation, with more than three hundred thousand members active nationwide in provinces, public institutions, universities and communities. Guided by the spirit of Volunteerism, UYFC empowers youth to contribute to society through education, culture, sports, health, environmental, protection, and community services. Its members have played vital roles in national and international events, from the historic Cambodia’s hosting of 2023 SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games to cultural celebrations such as Angkor Sankranta, as well as uniting Cambodian people to set Guinness World Record together.

All the progress and impact achieved by UYFC have been made possible thanks to the hard earned peace and stability that Cambodia enjoys today. This peaceful environment, secured through the continued efforts and leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia, has created the conditions for youth to learn, grow, and serve their communities. With peace as the foundation, UYFC has been able to expand its reach and empower young Cambodians to actively contribute to national development across many sectors.

Beyond national borders, UYFC has strengthened ASEAN solidarity and global connections through the International Youth Cultural Festival and the International Youth Educational and Cultural Festival. UYFC has united young people from ASEAN and beyond in the spirit of cultural exchange and solidarity.

Whether participating in education and sport, environmental initiatives, or disaster relief, especially during times when our nation needs it most, such as in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, UYFC volunteers were fully engaged to support the effort. We are committed to giving back to our Nation and People because “Cambodia is always in our heart.”

With pride in its past and commitment to the future, UYFC will continue its mission of giving back the nation, upholding cultural pride, and providing platforms for youth to serve their communities, nurturing youth who will carry Cambodia forward and contribute to peace, unity, development and people to people exchange across ASEAN communities and the world.
