The ASEAN-ROK Day included a forum on “Towards an ASEAN-ROK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for peace, security and prosperity”, where Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Political and Security Community, Michael Tene, traced the journey of ASEAN-ROK dialogue relations in his pre-recorded keynote speech. An ASEAN-ROK Tourism exhibition was also staged, followed by cultural performance and gala dinner.

The event was initiated by Viet Nam, as the country coordinator of the ASEAN-ROK Dialogue Relations (2021-2024), and co-organized by Viet Nam and the ROK as an activity to contribute to efforts in further strengthening the ASEAN-ROK Strategic Partnership and comprehensive cooperation, particularly in light of the 35th Anniversary of ASEAN-ROK Dialogue Relations in 2024.
