Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs, Tran Duc Binh, and Head of Cooperation of EU Delegation to ASEAN, Thibaut Portevin, co-chaired the closing meeting of ARISE Plus Grant Capacity Building Project at the ASEAN Secretariat. The meeting highlighted the project’s achievements and lessons learned including the required follow-up.

The project is a EUR 4 million grant to strengthen the ASEAN Secretariat’s capacities, through managing the integration process with an emphasis on progress monitoring and impact assessment, including statistics, coordination and management and improved capacity among ASEAN bodies and the ASEAN Secretariat. It is one of the five components of the EU 41 million ASEAN Regional Integration Support by the EU.
