Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn held a meeting with Asia Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) CEO Philomena Gnanapragasam, along with representatives of AIBD and TVRI, in Bali, Indonesia today on the sidelines of the 18th Asia Media Summit. They discussed potential collaboration between ASEAN and AIBD, particularly in the areas of media literacy, digital transformation for the media, and capacity building for media professionals, among others. Dr Kao also commended the proactive role of AIBD in providing a platform for cooperation and knowledge sharing on media development in the Asia-Pacific region.
