The ASEAN documents series is a compilation of ASEAN documents, mainly joint press statements, agreements and declarations. This supplementary edition 1992-1994 of the documents series covers the period of February 1992 to February 1994. The period covered by this suplementary edition is highlighted by events launching the ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA). This is in the joint press statements of the 1992 AFTA council meetings which set the stage for implementing the CEPT scheme for AFTA and the press statement of the ASEAN economic ministers.
