Author:ASEAN Secretariat

Abstract

ASEAN Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) is a voluntary standard to prevent risks to food safety, produce quality, the environment and workers in production, harvesting, and post-harvest handling of fresh fruit and vegetables. It sets the standard practice for on-farm production activities as well as that of local industries where the produce are processed and packed for sale. It is designed in four separate modules.
