This document is intended primarily for use by competent authorities and manufacturers to ensure production of safe ceramic articles. This document also provides guidance on traceability system to assist all relevant business operators to identify and control the key parameters determining compliance of ceramic articles with the relevant requirements, thereby protecting consumers and facilitating trade among ASEAN Member States.
