This pioneering study seeks to present a robust foundation to establish an ASEAN-wide common understanding on WPS, while encouraging nuanced interpretations at the national and local levels. Furthermore, this report offers inspiring case studies, insights on emerging issues requiring a coordinated and gender-responsive approach from stakeholders, proposes genderinclusive policy and program recommendations, as well as identifies opportunities to enable ASEAN ownership and engagement on WPS.
