The ASEAN Statistical Yearbook 2018 is the fourteenth issue of the publication, since the series started in 2001. Prepared by the Statistics Division of the ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN Statistical Yearbook has consistently provided updated data on social and economic progress of ASEAN Member States (AMS) and become one of the ASEAN Secretariat’s most established publications.

The ASEAN Statistical Yearbook 2018 covers the period of 2008-2017 for all 10 ASEAN Member States and the areas of demography, education, health, employment, macroeconomic, trade in goods, trade in services, foreign direct investment, transport and communication, tourism, agriculture, and manufacturing. The Yearbook uses official statistics submitted from AMS National Statistical Offices under the purview of the ASEAN Community Statistical System (ACSS).
