Covering a wide array of topics including population and demography, education and health, economic growth, inflation, employment, trade in goods and services, foreign direct investment, transport and tourism, agriculture and manufacturing sectors, this 19th edition of the ASEAN Statistical Yearbook introduces notable enhancements. Particularly, there is an increased focus on data disaggregation for economic indicators, providing a more nuanced understanding of variables such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by industrial breakdown and international merchandise trade statistics by modes of transport.
