Six chapters that discuss the early history of the rise of nationalism in Brunei in order to protect the sovereignty of the king, religion, nation, and the people. The introduction of this book traces briefly the history of Brunei since the sixth century until the signing of 1905/1906 treaty that became the turning point towards the achievement of Brunei Darussalam's independence which was proclaimed on 1 January 1984.
