This book presents a selection of the wealth of idea of these courageous scholars and practitioners who, as a result of the terrorist attack, saw the urgency to be in Bangi from 8 to 10 November 2001 to participate in a conference jointly organized by the school of media and communication studies (formerly departement of communication), Universiti kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and the Malaysian national ASEAN-COCI .
