Abstract

As for the possible applicability in the present time, at the national level, there are suggestions that some selected rhymes should be printed, with attractive illustrations, in vernacular language. In primary schools when children acquire reading skill they should be encouraged to read by themselves. Based on the rhymes they ready, children can also be stimulated to create similar read. Fun rhymes, riddles and game songs should also be used in school for practicing rhythm, strengthening brain power and physical exercises.
