The Compendium presents analytical views and practical approaches from the research community to implement the second term (2021-2025) of the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Blueprint 2025. It offers new and innovative ideas on how the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community can overcome current and emerging challenges to strengthen human development and bring about meaningful socio-cultural change in ASEAN. The ten chapters discuss a wide range of topics that include opportunities in ASEAN’s climate governance, monitoring and evaluation for development cooperation, strengthening a regional renewable energy sector, harnessing digitalisation for human resource development, and realising inclusive development for People with Disabilities and Women. This publication strengthens the ASEAN Secretariat’s collaboration with the research community, and increases awareness of the Blueprint’s implementation with ASEAN’s stakeholders and the general public.
