The project for strengthening capacity building in agriculture sector in ASEAN Countries (CB Project) has been implemented from 1st October 2011 to 30th September 2014, funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) of Japan, to promote the capacity building for agriculture related practitioners/officials in ASEAN Member States. Through various project components such as training, courses, seminars, dispatch of Japanese short-term experts, etc., the project has significantly contributed to the development of capacity in the ASEAN agriculture sector, which would partly contribute to sustain food security in the region.
