This report presents the findings of the Impact Study on ASEAN Disaster Management Capacity Building Programmes conducted from June to October 2023. The study’s primary objective is to assess the impact of previous and existing capacity-building programmes on the disaster management capabilities of ASEAN and its Member States (AMS). By examining the outcomes of these programmes, the study aims to identify gaps and challenges and provide recommendations for future initiatives. The results of this impact study will inform the development of an ASEAN Capacity Building Roadmap on Disaster Management, which will serve as a strategic action plan to enhance the disaster management capacities of AMS, aligning with the AADMER Work Programme (AWP) 2021-2025 and beyond.
